Guidelines

general reponses i'm alright with:
- short, silly, crack, or even super quick responses.
- long, planned, multi-paragraphs responses.
- semi-nsfw (18+), suggestive, dark themed responses.
- Just be aware that responses are quick as fuck or might take a while! I have a life outside so feel free to reach out!shipping:
- Major preference of NON ROMANCE ships. shipping is not out of the equation but is something I am not wanting unless we have discussed it beforehand or there is chemistry between our two characters.
- I'M ALWAYS DOWN for toxic, one-sided, enemies, friends, family, or straight up 'i fucking hate you i will kill you' type relationships. I like to have fun.
- IN FACT, IF I'M FOLLOWING YOU, IT MEANS i DON'T WANT TO SHIP unless you really want too, reach out. if not? i'm not here for romance.
18+ only
This is no way of being mean to anyone under the age of 18 years old but please understand that I am a 25 year old person. there is no reason for my age and your age to discuss anything. I appreciate the consideration for interaction but there is no way I can do so comfortably.
due to this as well, I refuse to interact with anyone's muses that are not at least 18 either.verses and shipping:
-I'm open multi-verses and shipping! I deadass love roleplaying with everyone and everything under the sun. Hell, if you're some pepsi can RP account - guess I'm roleplaying with you.
Of course there are things I have no control over! such as not knowing anything about your fandom but that won't stop me. I'll do some research and ask questions.I'm in a LOT of fandoms.

WILL NOT INTERACT OR ROLEPLAY WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Anything involving children.
- Zionism
- LGBQTA-Phobia & Racism
- If Mun & Muse are not both 18 or older.
- SA, Rape, Incest, etc... (there are ways to roleplay dark themes without this.)
- Full on NSFW / Smut RPs. I am engaged and respecting my fiance's boundaries. I'm more than willing to talk about what our characters could do - but actually write it back and forth? No thank you.
interacting with problematic people:
be an adult and reach out privately to me if someone I'm interacting / following with isn't a good person.
i don't spend my life online and i'm not always in the loop.general things
- I am a major OC lover. Please, please, any and all OCs come here I want to be your friend so fucking bad. please.
- I speak english as my fourth language so please understand sometimes I have a hard time understanding something. because of this, if I am not actively roleplaying - my OOC posts and comments are not going to be gramatically correct.- with that, PLEASE reach out if my responses aren't good and I'll gladly fix it!- i'm super shy please reach out. if I follow you - it means I want to write with you and talk to you! :3- If at any point you just wish to remove me from interacting with you, please let me know! I will otherwise think the website is shitting itself again and I would like to avoid causing any issues. a private DM is all I need.

The world sees me, and sees a hateful monster... an Onryo. My own mother saw it, too, and could not love me. Maybe they're right.

about  Mizu is a master swordswoman disguised as a man, on a blood-soaked path of vengeance in Edo-period Japan. Haunted by prejudice for being of mixed heritage and scarred by her mother’s suffering, she dedicates her life to hunting the foreign men who may have fathered her.

  • height : 5'9''

  • hair color : black

  • scars : various

Appearance  Mizu cuts a striking figure, her most defining feature being her piercing blue eyes, a mark of foreign blood that instantly sets her apart in Edo-period Japan. Her features are sharp and angular, giving her a hard, almost androgynous beauty that helps her maintain the disguise of a man. Her skin bears the pallor of someone who has spent much of her life in shadow, though the lines of old scars testify to years of conflict and training. Her long black hair is usually tied back tightly to keep it out of her face, furthering her masculine guise. She dresses in muted, practical layers befitting a ronin: a dark indigo kimono bound at the waist, over which she wears a faded hakama that allows freedom of movement. A plain haori jacket—worn, but sturdy—rests over her shoulders, its sleeves cut to avoid hindering her swordplay. The garments are simple and unadorned, carefully chosen to avoid drawing attention, yet the precision in how she ties and layers them reveals her discipline. At her hip rests a daishō, the paired long and short blades that mark her skill as a warrior, though she carries them with the quiet confidence of someone who knows their worth without needing to boast. Her figure is lean and wiry, built for agility rather than bulk, and she moves with a deliberate economy of motion that makes her seem both graceful and dangerous. Though she presents herself as male, subtle hints of femininity linger in her delicate frame and refined posture, often concealed beneath the severe discipline of her disguise. Every aspect of her appearance — from her restrained clothing to her controlled expressions — is calculated for survival in a society that would cast her out.Mizu often conceals her most damning feature — her blue eyes — behind a pair of tinted spectacles. The frames are simple and utilitarian, crafted of thin, darkened metal rather than ornamented like the accessories of the wealthy. The lenses themselves are slightly smoked, casting her gaze into shadow and softening the sharp glint of their unnatural color. The spectacles sit low on her nose during travel or combat, their subdued tint enough to obscure her eyes without entirely limiting her vision.

Personality Mizu carries herself with the quiet ferocity of a blade drawn but not yet swung. She is disciplined to the core, her every movement measured, her words sparse, as though each one must be earned before it leaves her lips. To those around her she often seems cold, distant, even cruel, a woman who has trained herself to shed weakness in all its forms. Yet beneath the steel lies a constant war: the fragile longing for connection against the ruthless instinct for survival. Her mind is as sharp as her sword — observant, calculating, and capable of dissecting a person or situation with unnerving clarity. She is not easily deceived, though her own mistrust prevents her from easily placing faith in others. Vengeance fuels her, giving her an almost inhuman endurance, but it is also the wound that never heals, bleeding into her choices and clouding her heart.Though Mizu hides behind the mask of stoicism, moments of her humanity surface in fleeting kindness, flashes of humor, or rare admissions of vulnerability. These glimpses are fragile and quickly buried again, for to her, emotions are dangerous — openings that others might exploit. And yet, the very fact that she struggles to bury them reveals the truth of her nature: Mizu is not a creature of pure vengeance, but a person still yearning.

biography  Mizu was born around 1637–38 in Japan, the daughter of a Japanese woman taken advantage of by one of four Western traders who illegally entered the country despite a ban on foreigners. Marked by her unnatural blue eyes, she was seen as a “half-breed demon” and quickly learned to conceal them with a wide-brimmed hat and tinted spectacles. An early assassination attempt claimed her mother’s life, leaving Mizu in the care of a maid who posed as her mother in the fishing village of Kohama. Her childhood was marked by strict confinement, abuse, and bullying from local children, especially Taigen. When their cruelty drove her to the edge of a cliff, a falling meteorite scattered the bullies and changed her fate. That night, she met Eiji, a blind swordsmith who took in the ore from the meteorite — and, eventually, Mizu herself.Eiji became her “Swordfather”, teaching her the forge’s discipline and the philosophy of the blade. She learned sword-smithing under him, secretly training herself at night by imitating the styles of visiting samurai. To survive prejudice, she disguised herself as a boy and bound her chest, internalizing Eiji’s lesson that strength lay not in purity but in a careful blend of metals — and people. Their bond gave her the structure, home, and parental guidance she had lost.As she grew older, her vow hardened: to avenge her mother by killing her unknown Western father. Despite Eiji’s warnings, she left his care armed with a blue-steel katana she had forged from the meteorite — succeeding where he had not. For a time, she reunited with her “mother,” only to be manipulated into an unwanted marriage to a disgraced samurai named Mikio. Though they grew close and fell in love, Mikio’s eventual rejection and betrayal shattered her, culminating in a bloody massacre that left both him and her mother dead by her hand. From that moment, Mizu abandoned attempts at domestic life. She returned fully to her male disguise, her tinted glasses hiding her eyes as she honed her skills in stealth, infiltration, and assassination. Hardened and alone, she marked each of her targets on her flesh with an X tattoo, vowing to find and kill all four Westerners who might be her father. Ruthless, disciplined, and unyielding, she became a blade honed only for vengeance — a woman who chose to live as a ghost in pursuit of blood.Would you like a more in-depth backstory?
